A celebration of community is what the Chokecherry Festival is all about! This is a wonderful opportunity to show appreciation for the abundance of our earth’s harvest, as well as the finest goods and services provided by local businesses and local talents!

A variety of booths line the park with everything from chokecherry jam, painted glassware, Fresh Squeezed Lemonade, Ice Cream with Chokecherry Syrup, Indian beadwork, Indian tacos, paintings, pottery, photography, delicious barbeque and music.

The 2005 Chokecherry Festival is set for August 20th in Lander City Park. Anyone interested in participating in this exciting event is encouraged to call the Lander Chamber of Commerce at 307-332-3892.
